[RANK5=John Hyon Ko] Georges Bardawil, the Tristar Gym Lebanon prospect, is one of the most exciting bantamweights representing the Arab world.

He began his promising MMA career competing as the underdog during Season 2 of Desert Force Al Academiya in 2014 and eventually won the show by submitting Phillipe Massoud in the first round at Desert Force 14.

Riding high on the momentum, Bardawil went on to capture the Egyptian Fighting Championship and Cedar FC bantamweight titles in the following years. The 24-year-old Lebanese fighter has finished all of his opponents in victory with only one blemish on his record via unanimous decision.

Recently, he signed with BRAVE Combat Federation and was booked to face Carlos Soares at BRAVE 11 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on April 13.

Georges Bardawil joined John Hyon Ko to talk about getting exposure during the Desert Force Academia reality show, learning from a bad weight cut, the reasons for signing with BRAVE CF, fighting in Brazil for the first time, representing the Arab world and more.
