Newly Crowned XFC Atomweight Champion Kaela Banney Has A Message For Young Girls

[RANK5=John Hyon Ko] Kaela Banney is the undisputed Xtreme Fighting Championship Women's Atomweight Champion.

On April 6, the 20-year-old Banney took on Brooke Kenrick in the main event of XFC 34: Friday Night Fights in Mansfield, Australia, and put on a show for the viewers in attendance and around the world watching on pay-per-view.

After a competitive battle, the judges gave the unanimous nod to the Gladstone Martial Arts/Fight Club Jiu-Jitsu product and wrapped the coveted gold strap around her waist.

She has obtained elite status by becoming the first-ever atomweight champion in the history of Australian MMA as well as a trailblazer by being part of XFC's first show with the women at the top of the marquee at such a young age which is an incredible feat.





In this exclusive interview, Kaela Banney joined John Hyon Ko to talk about her title-winning performance at XFC 34, the night she became a professional fighter at 15 years old, living the life she always wanted, future plans and more.
