[랭크5=고현 기자] Jung Chan-Sung will make his long-awaited return to competition at UFC Fight Night 139 in the main event versus Frankie Edgar on November 10 in Denver, Colorado.

During a press conference/open workout on September 19 in his home country of South Korea, 'The Korean Zombie' fielded some questions from the local media.

Jung started off by throwing praise at the former lightweight champion, considering himself fortunate to be facing the "living legend" in his next fight.

But the biggest gem came shortly thereafter. The South Korean revealed that there will be title-implications for himself when he steps into the Octagon across from Edgar.

"I was told that if I win this fight, I will get a title shot."

Arguably one of the greatest mixed martial artists hailing out of the Asia-Pacific region, Jung also has a huge following around the world for his exciting fighting style and image.

A featherweight championship clash versus either Max Holloway or Brian Ortega is a gift from the MMA gods to many.

Jung then offered up the mindstate he takes into the cage since he is now in his thirties.

"I was fighting for myself in my twenties, but now I'm fighting for my family," he stated. "Even though I do not have the same physical strength, I have amassed much more experience and know-how."

With a little over a month left until his showdown with Frankie Edgar, the 31-year-old later said that his main focus is staying injury free.
