[RANK5=John Hyon Ko] Martin Nguyen, ONE Championship Featherweight and Lightweight Champion, is creating his own volume in the history books of mixed martial arts.

In a three-month span between August and November of last year, he convincingly defeated Marat Gafurov and Eduard Folayang via knockout to take their titles.

Now, the Vietnamese-Australian will enter the cage at ONE: Iron Will in Bangkok, Thailand on March 24 to obtain an unprecedented third title against Bantamweight Champion Bibiano Fernandes.

John Hyon Ko spoke with the 29-year-old Nguyen about the protocol to get his weight down, inspiring the people of Vietnam, working with Reece McLaren during his training camp, feeding off the doubters, Conor McGregor not being a martial artist and more.
