The Persian bantamweight slashed through the ranks on the local scene even tearing apart names like Lina Lansberg and Milana Dudieva with relative ease. This all accumulated into a contract with Cage Warriors in the United Kingdom and a title shot in her second appearance for the promotion.
Kianzad went five rounds for the first time in her career and earned a hard-fought unanimous decision over Eeva Siiskonen to snatch up her first major championship title.
Almost a year later, she made her debut stateside for Invicta Fighting Championship against one of the biggest names on the roster in Jessica-Rose Clark. Again, her tenacious fighting style won the approval of all three judges and her introduction to North America was a success.
After that, Kianzad did not take any easy obstacles and clashed with some of the best female fighters of this generation. These battles against Tonya Evinger and Sarah Kaufman did not go her way but she showed that she is not out there trying to pad her record.
Currently riding a three-fight losing streak, the Art Suave rep will look to get back on track when she faces Brazilian striker Bianca Daimoni at Invicta FC 29 in Kansas City, USA on May 4.
